PSY 306 Psychology in the Wild

In this class we investigate the interactions between psychology and the natural world, examining a wide range of topics from cognition, health, and culture to the lives of creatures who share our world and our interconnections with them. We also consider psychological factors related to ecological problems and solutions.

PSY 308 Experimental Methods in Psychology II

In this class we apply research design and statistical principles to psychological research. Students design and conduct a study, analyze their results, and report what they discover.

As our world becomes more interconnected, the need to understand how culture shapes who we are has continued to grow. In this class we explore how interactions within and between cultures can affect perception and behavior.

In this class we look at how children perceive, understand and learn about themselves and the world from birth through middle childhood.
